 European Hoot 2023

I am pleased to announce that the date has been set for the Belfast Hoot 2023 - SATURDAY 24th JUNE.

As I expect we will all be flying into Belfast I can offer the following information:

° There are 2 airports: Belfast International and George Best City Airport. Regular coach services run from both airports and both terminate at the Europa Bus Centre right smack in the city centre. Belfast Intl is a 30-40 minute journey, and George Best is just 10 minutes away.

° There are numerous hotels within 5-10 minutes walk of the Europa Centre - the prestigious Europa, the Maldron, Jury's Inn, Premier Inn, The Flint aparthotel, and budget hotels such as Travelodge, Ibis and Etap.

° The Grand Opera House is next door to the Europa Hotel. There are fabulously ornate pubs close by doing great homely food and live music 7 nights a week. The Belfast Sightseeing Bus stops outside the Europa.

° Not to be missed is St. George's Market a Victorian covered market which is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Lots of seating areas where you can browse, or just chill and be entertained.

° Belfast City Hall is well worth a visit but is only open Monday-Friday. Tours are free. The beautiful grounds are open every day.

Everywhere is walkable. Titanic Belfast is a bit further away (about 35 minutes walk) but a bus takes you right there in about 15 minutes. Public transport is plentiful and reasonably priced.

I've probably bombarded you with too much information all at once. If you haven't guessed I absolutely love the place. You will have a ball!

Saturday will be hoot day and we will be doing the obligatory photoshoot (absolutely no white or beige!) and something special!
